Living just minutes away from the Harley Museum and having been to the grounds you would think that I’d have taken the time to go through it. But, for whatever reason, that’s not the case and the closest I’ve ever come to walking through it was at a portable display at Harley’s 105th Anniversary.
So, to ring in the new year we decided to take a field trip into Milwaukee and see just what the Museum had to offer. We decided to upgrade and get the audio guide which compliments the plaques at each stop. There was a lot of good information that the audio tour provided so I’d say it’s worth the extra few bucks to spring for it.
The tour provided a great history of the brand and some interesting insight into the manufacturing history. The pictures below are but a small part of the tour and don’t do seeing the bikes up close and personal any justice.
If you’re in the neighborhood of the museum I’d suggest you stop in and see a part of the sports history.
