All posts for the month February, 2012

For the 5th year in a row we headed out to Indy for the annual Dealer show & Expo.

This is the one time a year where manufactures, distributors, and dealers get a chance to get together and not only look at current products, but get a sneak peek at what’s coming out that year.

What’s cool about it is we also get a chance to see some pretty interesting gear that the manufacturers bring to show off new products. Translation, lots of cool bikes and gear to look at for us farkle-heads.

  • I've never thought of, or been asked, about mounting a Powerbar on an Adventure style bike. After seeing it up close and personal I'm thinking it's not a bad idea.

  • Sena's BT has to be one of the best we've seen in a long time. Not only is the quality great, but these folks are ACTIVELY maintaining and upgrading them to stay on the cutting edge.

Some great news for users of the Contour Video Camera was announced on Tuesday. In the past you could upload your video’s directly to sites like YouTube and Vimeo in addition to Contours own video site.

Well, after numerous requests, they’ve added this capability as a standard feature to their latest version of the Storyteller software. Now, instead of uploading to Contour.com and sharing from there, you can do it right from your software.

By adding this feature you can now post links to Twitter and Embed in Facebook AND upload to Vimeo and YouTube. You can still do it through Contour.com or, if you upgrade to the latest version of Storyteller you can do it right from your software. To update, just open up your Storyteller software and go to “Help -> Check for Updates” and follow the instructions.

If you have any questions or problems doing this upgrade just let us know and we’ll be happy to help you through it.
